Pressure Pipe

DPF pressure pipes: the thin metal tubes that connect the exhaust, before and after the particulate filter, to the differential pressure sensor that tells the engine computer how full the filter is. A damaged or blocked pipe makes the sensor report false readings, which can be mistaken for a faulty filter, so the manufacturer recommends new pressure pipes with any replacement unit that includes a DPF.
