Every part on CatHive is priced to be genuinely competitive, and our prices are reviewed every week. If you still find the identical part advertised for less by another UK retailer, don’t just expect us to match it — tell us, and we’ll aim to beat the lower price by half the difference again.
How it works
- Find the identical part — the same manufacturer and the same part number — advertised for less by a UK retailer, brand new and in stock.
- Before you place your order, send us the competitor’s link through our contact form, together with the part number or your vehicle registration.
- We compare the two delivered totals — part, VAT and delivery to your address. If everything checks out, we’ll offer you a price that beats the competitor’s by 50% of the difference.

That’s the competitor’s price with half the difference taken off again — so a successful request always leaves you better off than the price you found.
The conditions
- The part must be identical: the same manufacturer and the same part number, brand new and never fitted.
- It must be in stock and available for immediate dispatch from a retailer based in the UK.
- The price must be publicly advertised and available to anyone — not an auction or marketplace listing (for example eBay or Amazon Marketplace), a private sale, a members-only or discount-code price, a clearance line or a grey import.
- We compare like with like: the full delivered price including VAT. Where our price includes a fitting kit, the comparison must include an equivalent kit.
- Requests must be made before you place your order, and an agreed price applies to that order only.
- The Price Promise is a discretionary goodwill scheme: we assess every request individually and may decline a request, or amend or withdraw the scheme, at any time. It doesn’t affect your statutory rights — see our Terms & Conditions.
