DPF

Replacement diesel particulate filters (DPFs), made by BM Catalysts. Choose a standard DPF with a 2-year warranty or, for many vehicles, a Premium silicon-carbide (SiC) DPF with a 3-year warranty: its part number ends in P. Almost every DPF comes with its fitting kit included, every DPF for a Euro 5 vehicle is type approved, and delivery is free to most of the UK.

A DPF rarely blocks on its own, so find and fix the cause first (why DPFs block), and have the new filter set up with diagnostic equipment when it is fitted (fitting a DPF). If your filter shares one housing with the catalytic converter, see catalytic converter & DPF.
