CatHive is an online shop for replacement catalytic converters, DPFs, exhaust pipes, DPF pressure pipes and fitting kits, for drivers and garages across the UK. It is run by PLEXPAD LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales. This page sets out who we are, how we choose the parts we sell, how we write our guides and how to reach us.<\/p>\n

Who we are<\/h2>\n

CatHive is the trading name of PLEXPAD LTD. The company’s details are public on the Companies House register<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We sell online and by phone. The registered office is our legal address, not a shop: there is no counter or collection point, and every order is delivered.<\/p>\n

What we sell<\/h2>\n

Catalytic converters, DPFs and petrol particulate filters (GPFs), including combined units, plus exhaust pipes, DPF pressure pipes and fitting kits, for vehicles on UK roads, vans included.<\/p>\n

Every part we sell is made by one British manufacturer, certified to ISO 9001, and each carries a pin-stamped serial number that traces it through manufacture. We chose a single manufacturer we could stand behind rather than a mixed catalogue of unknown origin: read about the manufacturer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Delivery is free to most UK addresses. Orders placed before 4pm, Monday to Thursday, are delivered the next working day to England, Wales and most of Scotland (delivery details<\/a>).<\/p>\n

How we choose the right part for your vehicle<\/h2>\n

Type approval.<\/strong> Replacement catalytic converters and DPFs are controlled by type-approval law, and which part a vehicle needs depends on its age and Euro level. Type-approved parts in our range have an H at the end of the part number and are marked Type Approved on the product page, and every product page lists the vehicles, years and Euro level the part is catalogued for. Fit.<\/strong> Every part is catalogued against the vehicles it fits, by model, engine and years. Search by registration on our home page<\/a>, or browse by make and model<\/a>, to see the parts listed for your vehicle. Not sure? Send us your registration through our contact form<\/a> before you order and we will confirm the fit in writing.<\/p>\n

Our fitment guarantee.<\/strong> If a part we list for your exact vehicle, or confirm in writing, does not fit it, we collect it at our cost and you choose between the correct part and a full refund including delivery. The limits are set out on our Returns page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Warranty.<\/strong> Every part carries a manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects: two years, or three years on premium silicon-carbide („P“) DPFs. It comes on top of your legal rights. How we write our guides<\/h2>\n

Our Help & Advice guides<\/a> and blog articles<\/a> are written by the CatHive team to answer the questions drivers and garages bring to us: why a part failed, what the MOT checks, what the law requires and how a part is fitted.<\/p>\n

We write from primary sources: legislation on legislation.gov.uk, guidance from the Department for Transport, the DVSA and the Vehicle Certification Agency, and manufacturers‘ technical documents. Our blog articles and our guides to the law number their sources in the text and list them at the end, so you can check each fact yourself. What we cannot verify, we leave out. If you spot a mistake, tell us<\/a> and we will correct it.<\/p>\n

For garages<\/h2>\n
